Tree Tech is an approved contractor for the management control of invasive plants with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Each plant requires different methods of control and most all require diligence to eradicate.

Invasive plants include the following:

  • Japanese Knott Weed (Polygonum cuspidatum)

  • Autumn Olive (Elaeagnus umbellate)

  • Oriental Bittersweet vine (Celastrus orbiculatus)

  • Winged euonymus “burning bush” (euonymus alatus)

  • Norway Maple (Acer plantanoides)

  • Sycamore Maple (Acer pseudoplatanus)

  • Black Locust (Robinina pseudoacacia)

  • Multiflora Rose (Rosa multiflora)

  • Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus altissima)

  • Garlic Mustard (Allaria petiolate)

  • European Buckthorn; Glossy Buckthorn (Frangula alnus)

  • Common Buckthorn (Rhamnus cathartica)

  • Creeping Jenny (Lysimachia nummularia)

  • Japanese Honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica)

  • Japanese Barberry (Berberis thunbergii)
