Spray your Property, Not your Skin

Serving Eastern Massachusetts and the Greater Providence area

There has been a lot going on this year, obviously. For reasons we don’t really need to explain to you, we’ve all found ourselves spending a lot more time around our homes and properties than we normally might during a more ordinary summer season. Considering all of this, it would be a real shame if any additional factors were to limit your enjoyment of your own private property.

Unfortunately, that is exactly what ticks and mosquitoes do. You can spray your clothes with awful-smelling repellents. You can rub less foul-smelling natural products all over the kids. You can burn candles, citronella oil in torches, etc., etc. But it’s never quite enough, is it? Well, Tree Tech, Inc. is here to give you the effective solution to tick and mosquito management you’re after.

It’s a Matter of Comfort. It’s a Matter of Safety

There are always going to be those individuals that just smile through it. They wind up with little bits of blood smeared all over their arms, legs, and necks. They stink like commercial insect repellents. They wear long pants and shirts at casual get togethers even though it is swelteringly hot in the sun. And they convince themselves that it’s all worthwhile, because the bugs are out.

We know that you deserve better than this. That’s why we offer professional mosquito and tick treatment services. If you’ve never considered professional intervention for your mosquito and tick problems—well, we’re willing to bet that you’re still dealing with those problems, aren’t you? We can find a solution to fit any property, any preference, and any budget.

Weather Matters

We’re sure that there have been periods where you realize that the ticks and mosquitoes don’t seem as bad as usual. We’re also sure that you realize this never lasts long. There are a lot of factors that can influence the tick and mosquito population. They can change as quickly as the weather!

Tick populations tend to explode with some wet weather, as they are moisture-seekers. And if you’ve hiked through areas with a bit of stagnant water and puddles, you know mosquitos love it, too. A little rain, some added humidity, and all of a sudden your backyard is jumping with the pests again.

Know Your Tick Types

Here in Massachusetts, we deal with three different types of ticks.

  • Dog Ticks
  • Lone Star Ticks, predominantly spread throughout the Cape and the islands.
  • Deer Ticks, which are the ones that carry Lyme disease—the most common infectious disease in all of MA!

High-Risk Periods

If you think you’ll just wait out the tick population this year, think again. Ticks tend to be most active in Massachusetts from late May, during their nymph stage, through August. So, you know—the entire summer! You’ll see much the same pattern with mosquitoes. Wetter weather may result in a heavier presence, but even in a dry season, that is a major chunk of the year to be dealing with these pests.

Remember, it’s not just Lyme disease from ticks that you have to concern yourself with. Think about how many times you’ve had a tick dug in. Now think about how frequently you get mosquito bites. Are diseases like EEE and West Nile virus rare? Sure. But they are here, in MA. And they are spread by mosquitoes. It is not an exaggeration to say that tick and mosquito treatments protect your health, as well as your comfort.

Organic and Traditional Offerings

At Tree Tech, Inc., we believe in providing our clients options. We don’t just want your ticks and mosquitoes dealt with. We want to deal with them in a way that you’re comfortable with. If you’re interested in the safe application of traditional pest control treatments on your property, we can do that.

Looking for an organic approach? We can spray your property with our organic compound built around concentrated garlic, too. Not sure which is right for you? Simply reach out to discuss your options with a member of our team. That way, you can make a confident choice that you’re 100% informed about.

Choose Your Schedule

If you spend a lot of time in your yard—and, like we said, a lot of us have this year!—then an ongoing treatment schedule may be your best bet. All treatment applications typically entail spraying the property with our backpack mist blowers. When you opt for a year-long protection plan, we’ll complete this application in 21-day cycles from May-September (with some flexibility around your schedule, budget, and tolerance, of course).

Another option that far too many people overlook is our event spraying service. If you don’t have the need or desire for long-term treatment, you can still take advantage of our safe, effective mosquito and tick management services. We can come out in the days leading up to, or even the morning of, a party or event that you’re hosting on your property. The short timeframe means great success, and comfortable guests!
