Q: What is the scope of the tree care services Tree Tech offers?

A: We perform all tree work related to the maintenance, care and preservation of trees and shrubs. The removal of trees, regardless of size or location is also one of our specialties. Tree Tech also offers land clearing services as well as a tree replacement planting program.

Q: What is the best time of year to have tree work done?

A: Tree pruning and removals can be performed any day of the year with a few exceptions. We often suggest to our clients that waiting until winter to get tree work done has many benefits. From having better access, to keeping us going in the slow time of year, which leads to economic benefits.

Q: Is Tree Tech insured?

A: Yes. We are fully insured with $2,000,000 in combined coverage

Q: If I have work done in my back yard is it necessary to drive equipment into my yard?

A: No. It is not essential to bring equipment to the trees being worked on. It can however, lower the cost by reducing the time required to perform the job. It is our goal to leave your property in as good or better condition than before.

Q: What capabilities do Tree Tech and its Certified Arborists have?

A: Our staff of over 60 field personnel can perform all phases of tree care and tree removals - from fine pruning of trees, shrubs and ornamentals to large tree removal. We also provide top quality plant health care services. Our Tree Tech staff includes Licensed Pesticide Applicators and Certified Arborists. Our large fleet consists of: 12 aerial lifts, 14 chip trucks, 20 chippers, 3 cranes, 3 log trucks, 6 spray and fertilizer trucks, and 4 mechanized land clearing machines.

Q: Could my trees be affected by the Asian Longhorn Beetle?

A: Right now, according to the US Forest Service, the insect only exists in the Worcester area. Our staff is constantly on the lookout for this insect's activity in every area we work. However, in order to best protect our trees in eastern Massachusetts we have been trying to educate our clients and the general public on identifying this destructive pest.
